Well here I go again, I've done every diet there is and even did slim fast a few years ago and did real well. This time I have 16 pound to lose. I am joining a forum to try to retain my motivation. Starting tomorrow. Would really like to chat to people who are just starting just like me. Wish me luck.
I have been on the slim-fast plan for three weeks and four days now. I finish on Tuesday, I just came on slim-fast for the month to loose 13 pounds. I will find out my total weight loss on Tuesday. However, so far, from my third weigh in results, I have lost 7 of the 13 pounds I wanted to loose. So you can do this, it works :) I will add you as a buddy, as I say I am finishing on Tuesday and will be on holiday for two weeks on thursday, however, I will be back on here after to support people and see how people are going because I have found slim-fast very succesful :) so if you would like to accept that would be great for us both :)
The things I have learnt on slim-fast during my three weeks so far which might help you are:
- you need to do at least 30 mins exercise a day which gets you out of breath and sweaty.
- you should have your shake or bar for breakfast and lunch and try not to skip these for any reason
- you should consider calories in condiments as well as actual food on your plate
- you should look at the other nutritional information in foods not just the calories content. For instance, a meal might be under 600 calories but be very high in salt or saturated fat and this will affect your weight loss.
- when you feel hungry you should have a glass of water first and wait twenty minutes, if you are still hungry then have a snack
- if you have a snack try to have fruit, veg or salad
-only have a snack if you are really hungry
- take body measurements and dont just weigh yourself on scales as not always you will see clear results on scales due to many reasons
- dont get too caught up with the scales :)

Well failed at first hurdle, the little voice in my head won convincing me that I can't start a diet on Sunday, so tomorrow is now the day. Honest I will start tomorrow. Someone give me a kick and tell me to stop making excuses and get on with it, I need some tough love ha ha
I'm also re-starting my slimfast plan tomorrow, I lost over a stone last year in just 2 weeks & I'm hoping to lose another 2 stone :)
I need that same kick lol, was going to start today....but my lovely brain said "what's the point of starting on a Sunday" lol & like yourself I gave in. I think I've been saying I'll start my diet tomorrow for about a year now haha NO MORE EXCUSES!!
Yeh come on no more excuses lets do it together, I am really impressed that you lost a stone in two weeks. I am same as you always starting tomorrow and having pre diet binge today. We can do it.
I've also had my pre diet binge, infact I haven't finished yet lol
If we have done it before with good results, we can definitely do it again :)
I start on SlimFast tomorrow. No excuses this time!! :) it's the first time I try SlimFast so I am really exited to see if it works, have tried every diet there is in this world, but no one has worked so far....
I have to loose about 40 pounds, it's nice to have a forum with others that are going trough the same as me, we can support each others when things get rough, give advises and support each others :)

Don't any of you be coming with excuses tomorrow for not starting, I am saying this because then there is no way I can have excuses ha ha do you all exercise too. I am addicted to spin but still managed to put a stone on in last 8 months after losing two stone last year. Every time I promise it's the last time 😳😳😳
Hahaha. No excuses from me... I'm starting tomorrow no matter what. We just have to motivate each other.
I am going to start workout at home, have found some exercises that are good for loosing weight, and toning up my body...

Also if you get hungry, have a glass of water and wait for 10 minutes before eating.

We can do this guys! We've just got to stick together. Feel free to add me as a friend. I started on a THURSDAY!? LOL. What i did on wednesday was updated my facebook status that i was starting my SlimFast diet tomorrow and in that way there was no turning back. I'm looking forward to my first weigh in on thursday. I already feel it's working as my tummy has gone down and isnt so bloated.
Words of wisdom; stick to the eat 6 times a day (little and often) routine and you'll never be 'starving'......& drink lots and lots and lots and lots of water as it makes you full!!!!!!! xxx

It's allot easier than I thought it would be; this morning I started with a shake and a glass of water, my snacks have been banana and apple and my meal a meal a bar. I drank water every time I felt a bit hungry, and it helped, I have eating my dinner, and later it is cheese snacks (save the best for last) First diet I have tried that I have no cravings (they usually start already on the first day)
